I work with individuals who are ready to move beyond survival and into a life that feels more connected, authentic, and alive.
Drawing on evidence-based practices like CBT, CPT and trauma-focused therapy, — along with Mindfulness-Based and holistic approaches—I support clients in healing from trauma, navigating life transitions, overcoming challenges and stepping into a more authentic and empowered version of themselves. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and equipped to grow with clarity and confidence. I am Preanka. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I am completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I have a passion for mental health and helping others find ways to cope with the world around them. It is completely normal to feel unsure about therapy or even scared to open up to someone you just met. I want to create a safe space where clients can openly share without feeling judged or criticized. I understand that this is not an easy journey, but I am here to make therapy a smooth transition back to wellness.
I have a background in Criminology, and this explains my curiosity and interest in detail. I want to understand my clients for who they are and their unique experiences. I want to create a tailored plan that’s suits you and makes sense for your life. I lead with empathy and focus on connecting with the client. I have been raised in a multicultural setting where I was emersed in various cultures and have been exposed to different experiences. I believe in multiculturism and integration of cultural aspects into therapy. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, workplace issues or feel alone, I am here to listen and support you.
I believe in an integrated approach where each client is provided with a customized approach based on their unique experiences. I lean towards Cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, but I am adaptable and utilize other modalities. I want to collaborate with clients to determine what they want in their life and help them find ways to make that happen. I want therapy to be a space where you can feel comfortable and heard.

My own experience as a first-generation immigrant and mother has given me a profound awareness of various challenges that individuals and families encounter when adjusting to change and establishing a successful life in a new country. My family, originally from Pakistan, moved to Canada with the hope of creating a better life. The process of adjusting to a new culture and navigating the complexities of immigration has significantly influenced my approach to therapy.
In my practice, I adopt a holistic and integrative approach, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as client-centred therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. I believe every individual is unique, and I tailor my interventions to address the specific needs and goals of each person.
Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, I am able to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds on a deeper level. Having personally navigated challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and the balance of family life with personal and career growth, I am particularly attuned to the complexities of managing these aspects simultaneously.
I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space for individuals from all walks of life to explore their needs and work toward their goals. I invite you to reach out for your first confidential free session, where we can discuss how I can support you on your unique journey.

I’m Adam Ross, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University and a former Canadian Armed Forces infantry soldier. My passion for psychotherapy grew out of a desire to support others through life’s toughest moments, particularly those navigating trauma, identity, or transitions.
With a foundation in integrative therapy, I draw from approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and narrative practices to meet each client where they are. I’m especially committed to working with veterans, first responders, and individuals who have experienced complex trauma, loss, or attachment ruptures.
Outside of session, I’m a lifelong artist, I paint, draw, and sculpt, and I find calm through physical activity, whether at the gym or out in nature. I believe in the power of authentic connection, and my goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
