My own experience as an immigrant and mother has given me a profound awareness of various challenges that individuals and families encounter when adjusting to change and establishing a successful life in a new country. My family, originally from Pakistan, moved to Canada with the hope of creating a better life. The process of adjusting to a new culture and navigating the complexities of immigration has significantly influenced my approach to therapy.
In my practice, I adopt an integrative approach, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as client-centred therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. I believe every individual is unique, and I tailor my interventions to address the specific needs and goals of each person.
Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, I am able to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds on a deeper level. Having personally navigated challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and the balance of family life with personal and career growth, I am particularly attuned to the complexities of managing these aspects simultaneously.
I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space for individuals from all walks of life to explore their needs and work toward their goals. I invite you to reach out for your first confidential free session, where we can discuss how I can support you on your unique journey.

I’m Adam Ross, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University and a former Canadian Armed Forces infantry soldier. My passion for psychotherapy grew out of a desire to support others through life’s toughest moments, particularly those navigating trauma, identity, or transitions.
With a foundation in integrative therapy, I draw from approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and narrative practices to meet each client where they are. I’m especially committed to working with veterans, first responders, and individuals who have experienced complex trauma, loss, or attachment ruptures.
Outside of session, I’m a lifelong artist, I paint, draw, and sculpt, and I find calm through physical activity, whether at the gym or out in nature. I believe in the power of authentic connection, and my goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
I’m honored to walk alongside you in your journey. Feel free to reach out, I look forward to connecting.
